The S.E. Shires Model 4S8 C Trumpet is an incredibly balanced trumpet, perfect for orchestral playing. This trumpet features Shires' “4” bell with a steel bead wire to create a powerful, brilliant, and complex sound that is effective in any setting. Yellow-brass balusters add warmth to the sound and an efficient .349 venturi mated with our W tuning slide gives this horn immediate and crisp clarity with a comfortable blow and accurate intonation. This instrument combines the best elements of classic New York and Mt. Vernon trumpet design with the consistency, playability, and projection that has made S.E. Shires trumpets the favorites of professionals the world over.
