The Engelbert Schmid Vienna Horn is a modern interpretation of the traditional Vienna horn, retaining historical characteristics while offering innovative flexibility and craftsmanship. It is primarily pitched in F but features a clever convertible system that allows it to be switched to Bb within about a minute. This is done by removing three intermediate pieces from the valve slides and replacing the F crook with the Bb crook. This quick-change mechanism offers exceptional versatility for different musical contexts and repertoire.
