Our shop went a step further with a $ 300 service including a full inspection and disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, and removed all major dents and hand polished. It plays well, with a classic Bach tone and response, and the slides and valves are smooth. At least 95% silver plating remains, minus a scratch near the 3rd slide, and a spot of corrosion on the leadpipe. The leadpipe was inspected and compression tested with no leaks, and the valves tested great at a 1. A great playing, and fully serviced, professional trumpet for an excellent deal!
